Centre for Human Genetics (CHG)
The Centre for Human Genetics (CHG), Bengaluru, is a multidisciplinary institution dedicated to advancing research, education and training in human genetics and genomics. Since its establishment in 1998, CHG has developed an integrated environment that brings together basic and applied research, academic programmes, clinical genetics and genetic diagnostics.
Our work focuses on understanding the genetic basis of human health and disease through research across diverse areas of genetics and genomics. We strive to translate scientific knowledge into meaningful applications in healthcare while fostering the next generation of researchers, clinicians and professionals in the field.
